TONE` BOTANICALS began from a place of curiosity and persistence. I first entered the skincare space in 2021, it became clear that effective skincare isn’t about complexity, but about understanding balance. Through trial and refinement, we learned that focusing on foundational care—products that support the skin rather than overwhelm it—was the key. This led me to botanical toners, designed to prepare, restore, and enhance your skin's natural beauty. Each formula is created with a specific intention: TONE` FIRM to support skin structure, TONE` HYDRATE to replenish moisture, TONE` CALM to soothe, and TONE` CLEAR to rebalance congested skin.

During my years of puberty, I struggled with severe acne that covered my face. I was deeply self-conscious and didn’t feel pretty. I believed that when people looked at me, all they saw were pimples my flaws. That struggle with my self-image followed me well into my adult years—my thirties, to be exact.
People would tell me I was beautiful, but when I looked in the mirror, I couldn’t see it. I didn’t realize how hard I was on myself until one day, a dear friend told me how beautiful I was. For the first time, I said it out loud: “I know people think that, but I personally feel so ugly.” She was shocked—completely speechless. She said, “You carry yourself with so much confidence, I never would have thought that.” That moment changed something in me. I looked at myself differently and realized there was no more space for the old version of me. I had already grown into someone new, but I was still holding onto the thoughts of being the “ugly duckling.”

For years, I used makeup to cover my acne. Then one morning in 2014, I took a picture of myself right after waking up. What I saw was a clear, natural, unmade face—and for the first time, I truly saw my beauty. From that day forward, I never felt the need to hide behind makeup again. My acne cleared in my early thirties, though like many of us, I still experienced occasional breakouts as hormones shifted. It wasn’t until I started

Effulgence Skin & Wellness that I accidentally formulated my first toner—a chamomile blend. Within 1–2 weeks, I saw noticeable results. My dark circles faded, my pores appeared refined, and my skin felt smoother both to the touch and in appearance. When I created TONE` Botanical Toners, my intention was to reach those navigating the different phases of skin and time—those who, like me, have struggled to see themselves clearly. Everyone deserves to look in the mirror and feel a sense of peace, confidence, and beauty. I created four toners to support the natural rhythm and daily phases of your skin—because your skin is not meant to be hidden, it is meant to be nurtured, understood, and honored.
